 THE FUNDAMENTALS TECHNIQUES.

Suite

TO CONDUCT.

The classic conduct: It consists in making to progress the ball by a continuous push or smalls blows by using only the flat side of the stick. The ball always remains in contact with the stick which is oblique bearing on the ground. The ball is on the level of the feet and on the side. The left gives the precision and the right hand the power.

The Indian conduct : it consists in making to progress the ball which is before the feet . The left hand makes turn the stick from left to right while passing before the ball to protect it. The right hand is used as a sleeve in which turns the stick.

On teaching level:It should be asked so that the elbow of the right arm remain always directed backwards to insist on the work of handling f the left hand.

TO PROPEL.

The push is is made in right blow (push) or in reverse ( flick ) . The ball is before the feet. The stick is held with two hands. There is a simultaneous action of the two hand-arms :For a push , for example, the right hand pushes towards the left and the left hand pushes towards the right. The point of rotation is between the two hands.

The push. The ball is located halfway of the feet at the beginning of the gesture. The path of action of the stick on the ball continues until and beyond the anterior foot. The center of gravity of the body undergoes a lowering and horizontal adjustment what decreases the risks of raising stick and ball

On the teaching level : it should be asked so that the ball be accompanied longest possible forwards.

The flick..The ball is located laterally and far-away of the feet to allow a better articular amplitude. The position of the hands on the stick no change. The left hand gives the precision of the gesture and the right hand has a role of support and power.

The scoop. it is authorised only in the shooting circle where one can raise the ball .According to the air trajectory to give to this one is parabolic or rectilinear , the ball will be more or less far-away laterally of the feet. There is a dominating action of the right arm in raising the ball. It is a shooting "with the spoon".

TO CONTROL.

To control with the push. The stick is held with two hands or with the right hand only. The main point consists in absorbing the shock to the clash of the ball with the stick and to stop the ball on the right of the feet. The stick is oblique bearing to the ground and can even be lying on the ground.

To control with the flick. The stick is held with two hands or with the left hand only. The stick is oblique bearing to the ground and can even be lying on the ground. The ball is stopped with the head or the sleeve of the stick on the flat side.It is tilted to avoid take-off of the ball at the time of the impact.
